Nationwide membership enables you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA. We offer this because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work or travel. This is an essential part of our mission to strengthen communities.
Your Y membership now allows you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States and Puerto Rico, at no additional cost. So, whether you are traveling on the west coast for business or visiting relatives down south, you can get your workout in and connect with the larger Y community.
Just remember that the first time you visit a Y outside of your home branch, you will need to sign a waiver. It takes just a few minutes, with a photo ID, and once it’s done, you won’t have to do it again! If you are a current member and know you are heading out of town, feel free to stop by our Membership Director's office and sign the waiver. Then you are all set to enjoy the benefits of nationwide membership!
Some restrictions may apply or vary among the participating Ys, so we recommend you call ahead prior to your visit. Visit ymca.net to find a participating Y location in the area you are visiting.
As your safety, and that of your family’s, is always our primary concern, all YMCAs conduct regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants and guests. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access.
